Job Description

Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong FEA,  Analysis, & testing of structural components or systems for automotive or aerospace vehicles
  • Experience  composites, adhesives, metals 
  • 3+ years complete product  development  lifecycle
  • NX10 or other  CAD 
  • Experience developing & authoring detailed test plans
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to understand manufacturing capabilities and limitations to ensure designs can be efficiently produced and assembled
Responsibilities: 
  • Design and analyze  vehicle structures
  • Use hand calculations, topology optimization, and CAD/CAE tools
  • Create, refine, and execute new technical solutions for vehicle structures 
  • Develop updated structural designs for and perform engineering analysis 
  • Execute engineering design release of structural components and subsystems
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Design and release structures that are optimized for mass, efficient production and assembly
