Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in aerospace environment with a focus on power electronics and motion control systems
- Experience in aerospace application development, testing, and implementation of aerospace technologies.
- Experience with brushless motors or controller systems is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of communication busses (CAN, EtherCAT, MODBUS etc.)
- Familiar with aerospace industry standards and regulations
- Strong understanding of aerospace systems and their components.
- Knowledge of methods for gap analysis, competitive analysis, and specific market requirements from a technological, business, and operational perspective is essential
- Experience supporting customers with complex drives. Must have documented achievement in the ability to prospect, create interest, negotiate, and close on sales with a technically oriented client base.
- Design, develop, and improve software applications for aerospace systems
- Utilize programming languages and tools to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate applications into larger systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability.
- Conduct testing and validation activities to identify and address potential issues.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for aerospace applications
- Translate technical requirements into detailed specifications for application development.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvements in existing applications and implement.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to ensure optimal functioning of applications under various conditions.
- Prepare documentation for aerospace applications, including technical specifications, user manuals, and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient development process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to aerospace applications during development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Provide technical support and expertise to address challenges encountered during the application lifecycle.
