Job Description
Qualifications
- BSEE
- 5+ years of experience with design of industrial machine controls and electrical systems.
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Automated machinery and multi-axis servo systems preferred
- Experience with integrated safety technology with emphasis on servo motor control a plus
- Development of engineering drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Understanding of industrial machine controls, electrical systems, PLC and HMI programming.
- Experienced in new product development and working with integrated product teams in a stagegate like environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional manufacturing organization, multi-task, and balance priorities.
- Executes designs following the principles of Value Engineering, design for assembly, and design for serviceability
- Familiar with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and Change Control processes.
- Critical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause and corrective action of machine issues.
