Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Masters or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
- Experience leading a R&D team consisting of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Software Engineers
- Experience managing a team locally as well as a team overseas
- Experience with Drone system or automation equipment
- Experience working on consumer or commercial electronics devices
- Experience with creating budgets and managing resources
- Experience taking a product from R&D stage to production including New Product Introduction (NPI)
Responsibilities:
- Drive the entire development of an autonomous drone system as well as the charging base station
- Manages a systems engineering group responsible for the design, development and implementation of complete engineering programs in accordance with project budgets and release schedules.
- Lead, develop, and manage hardware engineering team, provide technical guidance, evaluation, and facilitate career growth
- Define and prioritize product requirements
- Responsible for managing New Product Introduction activities, drive engineering changes, design transfer, and implementation and tracking of changes through change control
- Work with marketing and upper manager on product roadmaps and bring product to market
- Provide mentorship and guidance to members of the team
- Perform quarterly reviews on staff members and provide constructive criticisms
