Qualifications
Responsibilities
- 5 + years hands-on electro-mechanical assembly of industrial control panels for industrial automation
- Must be familiar with: robots, vision cameras, stacklights, servo motors, pushbuttons, and sensors following wiring diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, reference manuals, and assembly system instructions & experience using hand tools, and power tools (calipers, micrometers and gauges)
- Competency drilling and tapping electrical components onto backplane, crimping, wiring and labeling components for control panels following wiring diagrams
- Ability to make calculations in English and metric measurements.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build industrial machine control panels, drill and tap electrical components onto backplane, and crimp, wire, and label components within control panel following wiring diagrams
- Install, wire, and route cabling from control panel to devices
- Align and fit parts according to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
- Interpret drawings and other specifications to determine best practices, using knowledge of tool design and shop mathematics.
