Job Description

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in assembly, testing, or a related technical role.
  • Experience building wire harnesses from drawings and wiring electrical outlets.
  • Proficiency in building from schematics/CAD and working with T-slot extrusion, Unistrut, or related materials.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with large-scale building tools (e.g., table saws, power tools, industrial wiring).
  • Comfortable with electronics tools (e.g., oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies) and tinkering with electronics.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., 3D printers, laser cutters).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand testing requirements and specifications.
  • Utilize technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble test rigs and fixtures.
  • Building Test Rigs: Construct and assemble test rigs to facilitate testing and Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) of various components and systems.
  • Building Testing Tools: Develop and build testing tools to support debugging efforts, ensuring efficient and accurate identification of issues.
  • Supporting Fixture Builds: Assist in the construction and assembly of fixtures used in the production and testing processes.
  • Maintaining Stock: Manage and maintain an inventory of commonly used custom cables and devices, ensuring availability for ongoing projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test rigs, fixtures, and testing tools.
  • Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.
