Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 7-10 years of design and/or manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong technical background, especially in metals, elastomers, plastics, and machine design
- 5 years of engineering management experience in manufacturing
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk preferred), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for Medical, Aerospace, Defense, and Transportation industries
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team leadership
- Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks and adapt to continuous change
Responsibilities:
- Direct custom product development, providing technical review and hands-on assistance
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet company objectives
- Monitor engineering team KPIs and manage resources effectively
- Guide complex projects, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met
- Develop engineering team through goal-setting, performance reviews, and mentoring
- Establish best practices and manage special projects from inception to implementation
- Foster open communication and maximize team potential
- Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions
