Job Description
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Biotech Instrumentation manufacturing experience
- 5 years of people management experience
- Experience with manufacturing biotech instrumentation including microfluidic chips, imaging systems, robotics handlers, ect
- Transfer products from R&D to Manufacturing
- Experience writing and implementing SOP
- Manage and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers as well as manufacturing technicians
- Create SOPs and ensure the team members are following procedure
- Ensure team members are maintaining accurate records regarding batch numbers and testing records
- Create schedules based on production needs
- Manage the development, improvement, implementation, and maintenance of methods and processes related to all systems manufacturing functions
- Maintain optimum stock of all components including spare in ensure there is no lapse in manufacturing.
- Work with technician on preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment
