Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Master’s degree and/or PMP certification is a plus.
- 10+ year Analog Circuit Design a MUST
- Experience managing R&D projects & engineers including EE's and Mechanical Engineers, 10+ years a MUST
- Hands-on phase gate NPD/NPI, Research & Development understanding with analog design Required (digital design plus)
- SolidWorks Electrical or Cadence OrCAD/Spice/PCB Editor/Allegro
- Ability to describe new products they have been responsible for introducing into production (New Product Development)
- In-depth class E and C RF power supplies & amplifier design experience strongly preferred
- Familiar with UL499, CSA22.2, IEC61010, ED55014 and EN61000 standards
Responsibilities:
- Manage up to 10 electrical and mechanical engineers
- Drives project through NPI phase gate process
- Performs Electrical design
- Conduct design review with ME, EE, SE and PM to ensure new products meet specification
- Work closely with project manager to drive successful project completion and meet schedule
- Ensure NPI meets product / project cost, and margin requirement
- Work closely with quality, production, and supply chain to ensure new product is manufacturable with high quality and first pass yield
- Engages internal resources to ensure fulfillment of the projects. This will include gaining commitments from functional leaders for the needed resource allocations
