Sr. Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Please note:10 hours per day for 4 days a week (Monday through Thursday), US Pacific time zone 7:00 A.M to 5:30 P.M

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of hands-on PCB design/layout using Altium Designer for circuit design and Testing/Troubleshooting (Test Lab environment).
  • Experienced with testing requirements for qualification/certification for RTCA DO160.
  • Development of Electrical Systems with Microcontrollers
  • Deep understanding with motor controls, MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, microcontrollers, such as MSP, STM, etc.
  • Experience with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet).
  • Firmware programming is plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing new (PCB's) Printed Circuit Boards
  • Develop electrical controllers and DC switching power supplies (DC-to-DC conversion power supply) for electromechanical systems
  • Troubleshooting existing electrical systems
  • Provide design improvements to existing products
  • System wiring harness as well as cable design.
  • Hardware and software testing. (Compliance Testing)
