Senior Systems Engineer
Job Description
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Biotechnology
-
Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD
-
Python or MATLAB for statistical analysis
-
5+ years of industry experience as a systems engineer for life science, biotechnology instrumentation, or medical devices
-
Experience with liquid-handling or lab-on-chip development for high volume production
-
Experience creating test procedures and SOPs
-
Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, cGMP regulations is an advantage
-
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-
Assist in the development of system and subsystem architectures for lab automation products
-
Work closely with cross-functional engineering team to define hardware and software requirements and specifications
-
Develop and test new control scripts to optimize hardware performance
-
Develop and execute test plans on prototype hardware systems
-
Develop and maintain SOPs and product development documentation
