Job Description
Qualifications:
- BSME or Other technical Degree
- Six Sigma Black or Green Belt preferred
- 6 Plus years in a Machining environment with small, high precision, plastic & metallic components - laser welding is desirable - in a hands on production environment
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, PDM, Materials, GD&T ASME Y 14.5
- Demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean and process Capability Studies
- Experience developing: DOE (design of experiments), DFMA (design for manufacturing & assembly) & implementing SPC (Statistical Process Controls)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Bills of Materials, Routers, Costing, Engineering Change Orders and Engineering Orders.
- Implement process improvements, sustaining and development initiatives with keen knowledge of tools, jigs, fixtures and manual machines
- Ensure DFMA by reviewing designs
- Develop PFMEAs,(process failure modes effects & analysis) drawings, work instructions, procedures, tools/jigs/fixtures, and processes to support new product introduction
- Drive & Develop Continuous Improvement, Root Cause and Corrective Actions
