Job Description
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience designing electromechanical systems for industrial automation equipment
- Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM
- Must have ability to lead and manage complex projects in a manufacturing/production environment (PMP preferred)
- Knowledge of GD&T, DFX (Design For Excellence), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Design the entire layout of automated systems and integrate electromechanical components into that equipment
- Manage projects by leading multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, controls, software) to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Take ownership of project execution throughout the entire project lifecycle by working closely with customers and sales teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians, junior engineers and production staff
