Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of hands-on Embedded Electronics with Commercial Appliances or Aerospace
- PCB design/layout using Altium Designer as well as experience selecting components for circuit design and Testing/Troubleshooting (Test Lab environment).
- Experienced with testing requirements for qualification/certification for RTCA DO160.
- Development of Electrical Systems with Microcontrollers (Mixed Signal Controllers)
- Deep understanding with motor controls, MOSFETs, op-amps, switching regulators, microcontrollers, such as MSP, STM, etc.
- Experience with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet).
- Small power supplies (as low as 2 Kilovolts)
- Firmware programming is plus.
Responsibilities:
- Working daily on development of Embedded Electronics
- Designing new (PCB's) Printed Circuit Boards
- Develop electrical controllers and DC switching power supplies (DC-to-DC conversion power supply) for electromechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting existing electrical systems
- Provide design improvements to existing products.
- System wiring harness as well as cable design.
- Hardware and software testing. (Compliance Testing)
