Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- CAD Design: SolidWorks
- 4-6 years experience
- Arduino, Raspberry Pi programming is a plus
- Mechatronics, robotics, motion control experience
- Experience in automation, machine design – motors, control systems, linear motion control, actuators
- Medical Device or Consumer industry experience is a plus
- Strong communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills (presentations, customer meetings, design reviews)
- Support multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of complex mechanical assemblies, layouts, models, drawings and BOM's for a variety of product development projects
- Perform detailed engineering and design of a variety of products and systems
- Support iterative design changes, manage large mechanical assemblies, check for interferences, fit and finish
