Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management , Chemical Engineering, or closely related field
- PMP Certification and / PE License is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in industrial project construction management (power plants, oil & gas, chemicals, etc)
- Experience with scheduling software (MS Project, P6, Smartsheet, etc) and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, BIM360, etc)
- Experience with managing large-scale industrial plant / construction projects from initiation to completion
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, HSE (health, safety, and environmental) policy, and legal regulations
- Experience working for / with EPC teams, contractors, and subcontractors both internally and at project-site locations
- Comfortable with travel up to 75%, primarily within the Bay Area and Midwest USA
- Lead and coordinate internal and external (EPC, contractors, and subcontractors) cross-functional teams to manage projects, including for budgets over $100M
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and address issues
- Manage construction schedule, budget, and resource plan
- Responsible for the engineering/construction design review process including equipment evaluation, tests, and approvals
