Job Description
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma/CNC technical diploma is preferred.
- Possession of 5+ years of machining experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical interest and aptitude.
- Strong math skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to perform set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Sets up all repeat jobs that are fully documented.
- Runs the first piece to print specification.
- Demonstrates proficiency in programming and the ability to make edits or program.
- Manually inspects parts to meet inspection sheet criteria.
- Reads blueprints at a medium/high level and correlates them back to inspection protocols and documentation.
- Possesses knowledge of GD&T tolerancing.
- Runs multiple machines simultaneously as part of a production cell.
- Applies advanced shop math skills including trigonometry and geometry.
- Enjoys mentoring and training operators.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
