Arena PLM Implementation Specialist
Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years experience configuring and deploying Arena PLM and QMS environments
- Experience with Arena PLM, including BOM management, part number creation, document control, and lifecycle management
- Proven expertise in integrating Arena PLM with SolidWorks CAD environments and managing PDM data extraction
- Hands-on experience with ERP system integration, specifically mapping data fields and establishing ECO workflows between Arena and NetSuite ERP
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards within regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of engineering change control, EBOM to MBOM translations, and lifecycle states
- Familiarity with advanced material processing, semiconductor manufacturing workflows, or related high-tech industries
Responsibilities
- Map business processes to configure an optimized Arena workspace aligned with hardware engineering and semiconductor manufacturing requirements
- Design item attributes, complex BOM structures, and categorize data to support opto-electromechanical manufacturing needs
- Build workflow routings for ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and integrate QMS modules within Arena for quality tracking and regulatory compliance
- Lead data migration efforts by cleansing, formatting, and importing legacy data into Arena while ensuring seamless CAD data integration
- Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to establish data governance boundaries and link Arena PLM with NetSuite ERP during the engineering-to-operations phase
- Develop documentation, training procedures, and facilitate user acceptance testing for cross-functional teams involved in NPI and quality management
