Job Description
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of mechanical assembly, electro mechanical assembly, or machine build experience
- Experience in medical device, automation, capital equipment, or regulated manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, 3D models, and assembly documentation
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and torque tools
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
- Experience with prototype builds, first article assemblies, and ECO implementation preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead assembly of complex automation systems, custom machinery, and precision mechanical assemblies
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and BOMs to support builds
- Perform alignment, calibration, fitting, and tolerance verification on precision equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, fit up, and tolerance stack issues and implement corrective actions
- Support prototype builds, first article assemblies, and engineering changes
- Mentor junior assemblers and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
