Assembly Cell Lead
Job Description
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
- 2–5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of assembly processes and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or technical documents
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (ERP systems, production tracking, etc.)
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities of assembly cell team members
- Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved efficiently and on time
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company and customer specifications
- Train, mentor, and support team members to improve skills and performance
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment in compliance with company policies
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workstations
