Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing engineering role, preferably within the construction, fasteners, or structural solutions industry.
  • Strong understanding of masonry construction, seismic retrofit principles, and structural detailing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients within the masonry building retrofit, restoration, and associated construction sectors.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with structural engineers, architects, contractors, building owners, and other key stakeholders involved in masonry projects.
  • Present products and seismic retrofit solutions through tailored presentations and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with the in-house engineering team to understand client needs, provide technical guidance, and develop customized solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities within the masonry and structural engineering industries.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
  • Represent company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies, marketing materials, and product positioning.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback.
