Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience as a Buyer with procurement, planning, or supply chain with Mechanical, Instrumentation or Electronics Products.
- Must be an effective negotiator with International suppliers such as China.
- Proficient with procurement, inventory management software, and tools.
- Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Must have ERP experience. (Microsoft Dynamics - Navision would be preferred.)
- Chinese (Mandarin) would be nice but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Support all buyer/ planner activities to support supply chain, procurement operations, sourcing.
- Monitor/manage inventory, equipment, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure that all materials meet safety standards.
- Analyze purchases and seek cost optimization opportunities.
