Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Programming skills for automated manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
- Proficient in electrical wiring, debugging, and vision integration.
- Experience with Allen Bradley HMI and PLC programming is a plus.
- Up to 5% travel required.
- Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States with a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automation controls.
- Lead system updates from start to finish.
- Collaborate in a team environment, conduct training sessions, and support quoting efforts.
- Code for automated equipment control using a structured development process.
- Integrate VFD and Servo motor controls.
- Train end users on machine functionality.
- Integrate and control various systems through automated controls.
- Support field installation, startup, and debugging.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced atmosphere.
