Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or a related technical field – 10+ years’ experience in leadership roles
- Deep expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry
- A documented track record of taking products from pilot stage to high-volume commercial production
- Deep experience in high-speed assembly, advanced material processing, and NPI (New Product Introduction).
- Expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and advanced quality tools; Six Sigma Black Belt is highly preferred
- Strong ability to manage complex budgets and capital projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and motivate technical teams
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the long-term manufacturing technology roadmap to align with Halo’s business goals
- Research and implement cutting-edge automation and manufacturing technologies to maintain a competitive edge
- Serve as the primary liaison between R&D/Design and Production to ensure products are robust and scalable (DFM).
- Lead the seamless transition of laser-based technology from the lab environment to high-volume internal manufacturing
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve yields, and lower unit costs
- Lead and mentor a high-urgency team focused on rapid problem-solving and disciplined documentation (ISO standards).
- Manage the annual manufacturing budget (CapEx and OpEx) and justify major capital investments
- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to move products from concept to commercialization
