Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field or equivalent leadership experience
- Seven or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in a custom manufacturing or engineer-to-order environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, production planning, and operational metrics
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational performance
- Experience with production management, operational KPIs, safety compliance, and process improvements
- Knowledge of maintenance and facility operations best practices
- Ability to foster teamwork and develop leadership skills within manufacturing teams
Responsibilities
- Lead all manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and financial objectives
- Develop production strategies, establish priorities, and optimize resources across departments including fabrication, assembly, testing, and shipping
- Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and operational efficiency
- Recruit, coach, and develop supervisors and employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement
