Director of Sales - Americas

Job Description
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or business administration. MBA a plus, but not required.
- Strong field sales management skills supported by career body of work.
- Excellent relationship building skills and demonstrated track record of team development.
- B2B technical sales experience of custom component level design in solutions, tied to longer multi-faceted sales cycles. (Average selling cycle is 1 – 3 years).
- Knowledge of electronic seals and spring solutions a plus
- Strong technical aptitude. Ability to travel up to +/- 30% (North America).
- Ability to network and build your personal brand
- Ensure core account development programs are in place for top 25 revenue positions.
- Support/drive annual business reviews with the top 5 revenue generating accounts per territory.
- Ensure margin and pricing is evolving with market conditions.
- Contribute, support and drive (Market) Segment Expert Teams, as they apply to your region.
- Develop solid working relationships with the Applications Engineering internal support team, as well as department leaders across the company.
