Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of digital circuits and 24 VDC power systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and schematic drafting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent drafting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with technical and
- non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering
- documentation (preferred)
- Understanding of relay functional logic (desirable)
Responsibilities:
- AutoCAD drafting for both maintenance support and new project development which
- adhere to ALS Electronic Engineering Group drafting standards.
- Document Maintenance: Keep existing technical documentation updated to reflect
- changes in product features or specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on technical documentation to
- ensure accuracy and completeness
- Legacy Drawing Conversion: Migrate the current ALS PPS AutoCAD schematics to
- the new lab standard PTC Windchill PLM software
- Collaboration: Work closely with PPS engineers to gather information and ensure
- alignment on technical documentation requirements
- Work Instructions: Draft job orders for technical staff for troubleshooting,
- maintenance, and equipment installation or removal.
- Component Management: Generation of Bill of Materials, Inventory Management,
- and the Procurement Process of required components
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance documentation processes,
- tools, and templates to improve efficiency and effectiveness
