Job Description
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.

1–3 years of relevant Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions.
-
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-
Ability to actively participate in team-based processes, influence engagement, and drive decision-making toward effective solutions.
-
Working knowledge of applicable state and federal EHS regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with current safety, risk management, and loss control practices in manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce company safety policies, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures.
- Serve as a role model for safe behavior and professionalism across the plant.
- Support and continuously improve Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
- Advise plant leadership and employees on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate corrective and preventative actions.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations, including reporting, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
- Track, analyze, and present EHS performance metrics and trends.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, response planning, drills, and related training.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training, including new hire safety orientations.
- Conduct internal EHS audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
- Support site and company-wide EHS initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in safety committees and promote employee engagement in safety programs.
