Job Description
Qualifications:
- BSEE with 5-7 years of industry experience
- Automation equipment design experience with stepper and servo motors
- Motion control experience including PLC and DeviceNET
- Experience with vision systems and optical monitoring systems
- Power distribution design and control (high/low voltage)
- AutoCAD Electrical proficiency
- Familiarity with SEMI standards, NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79
- Industry experience in semiconductor, disk drives, or solar preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical architecture and subsystem integration
- Ability to design electrical control panels and interconnect systems
- Experience supporting prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting
Responsibilities:
- Support design of custom automation equipment and develop electrical architecture for automated systems
- Design and integrate subsystems, components, vision systems, and sensors
- Create detailed designs for interconnects, cables, wiring diagrams, and electrical control panels
- Support prototype build, test, and troubleshoot activities
- Ensure compliance with SEMI standards, NEC, NFPA 70, and NFPA 79 requirements
