Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in programming industrial controls for manufacturing process equipment, semiconductor tools, or med/biotech manufacturing
- AutoCAD and at least one of the following programming languages: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Ignition, etc.
- HMI, and motion programming skills are required
- Experience designing harnesses, power distribution and interlock controls diagrams
- Experience selecting components and creating Bill of Materials for equipment projects
- Knowledge of Ladder Logic, VFDs, motors, networking and communication protocols, etc.
- Create requirements and concept designs for new semiconductor process equipment
- Participate in design reviews and lead the test and development of firmware, controls for new systems
- Apply knowledge of electrical systems schematics, P&IDs, flow diagrams to develop machine controls
