Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in industrial applications (oil & gas, power plants, etc)
- AutoCAD Electrical / Solidworks Electrical experience
- Allen-Bradley programming preferred
- MicroLogix and ControlLogix experience is helpful
- Experience with industrial control equipment: relays, power supplies, PLCs, IO cards, PCBs
- Design and draft panel layouts, loop schematics, wiring and cable lists, and BOMs
- Experience selecting industrial control systems hardware for use with PLC control systems
- Familiar with UL 508A standards, NEC, and NFPA 70
- Experience commissioning process plants or other industrial facilities is helpful
- Automation and control system build architecture, creating the electrical schematics and layout CAD drawings, and leading the manufacturing effort of the control system hardware and panel builds
- Build electrical schematic system from the ground up: hardware design of it, drafting it in AutoCAD / Solidworks Electrical, supporting manufacturing and test
- Developing the documentation of controls system
