Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience in an industrial automation environment
• AutoCAD Electrical (create electrical schematics)
• Demonstrated experience with Allen-Bradley PLC (Programable Logic Control) ControlLogix platform and development suite
• Demonstrated experience with motion controllers and Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence…etc.)
• Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with IEC 61010 compliance for automation equipment, EN ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061, NFPA-79, NFPA-70
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

•  Commissioning - support the bring-up of automation systems, calibration of controls systems (PLC's, sensors, vision systems), testing of systems, troubleshoot, resolve alignment issues
• Perform FAT/SAT activities (factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing)
• Qualify and validate new and existing automation equipment to ensure operational standards are met
• Provide general support for PLC configuration, testing, and troubleshooting (for motion controllers, robots, heater controllers…etc., also for vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)
• Create electrical schematics for complex automation equipment which meets UL/IEC codes
• Create required documentation for design, specifications, test protocols, installation and service procedures
• Assist manufacturing personnel in equipment issues as needed
