Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD for electrical schematics design
- 5+ years of experience with power distribution and cabling for complex, electromechanical equipment. Experience in the semiconductor, manufacturing, or robotics industry is transferrable.
- Knowledge of 3 Phase Power Systems
- Ability to select cables based on systems specifications
- Design experience with low and medium voltage AC power distribution systems
- Knowledge of electrical safety principles and practices (NEC, NFPA-70 & NFPA70E)
- Responsible for designing and installing AC system upgrades
- Create electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and installation instructions
- Hands-on testing, and troubleshooting of power distribution, cables, power supplies
- Coordinate install of power supplies, equipment, and cable infrastructure
- Help to coordinate fabrication and installation of power supply including selecting materials, reviewing design drawings, establishing inspection criteria, etc.
- Guide Electrician on power supply testing per designs
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
