Job Description
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- BSEE, MSEE 10+ years of experience
- Altium for PCB design and schematic capture
- Experience in circuit design, simulation and analysis
- Experience in design of experiments (DOE) and verification
- Strong understanding of design and best practices around ESD (Electro Static Discharge)
- Strong background in design of high current motor controllers is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams (Embedded SW, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Independently design, prototype, test and debug motor controllers.
- Design and debug electronic circuits, components and PCB assemblies for new product development and sustaining projects.
- Design, setup and run tests to ensure the design meets specifications.
- Develop and apply new techniques, circuits and tests for product design.
- Maintain records and documentation on all designs, tests and analysis.
- Develop new and apply existing techniques and tools to improve cost, design time, reliability, durability, and manufacturability.
- Work within a design team to complete assigned objectives.
- Troubleshoot circuits from prototypes, development, and customer returns.
- Participate in the preparation of development specifications.
