Job Description
Qualifications:
- BSEE, 5+ years of experience R&D or Manufacturing (start-ups preferred)
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems
- Experience using LabView, Python
- Experience designing and building electrical test setup, mechanical test fixtures
- Experience running and documenting tests results for hardware tests (thermal, reliability…etc.)
- Familiarity with high voltage/high power systems
- Familiarity with electrical codes (NEC, UL 508, UL 67, UL 489)
- Experience soldering, wiring, electrical rework (PCB)
- Ability to read and build from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable/harness diagrams
- Ability to us hand tools, power tools, lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Logic Analyzer)
- Designing and building mechanical test fixtures and electrical test setup
- Building test harnesses, assembling PCBAs, or putting together prototypes
- Running hardware tests (thermal, reliability, etc.); moving and setting up equipment and materials with third-party test houses
- Interface with third-party test labs as needed to run tests out-of-house
- Build the testing rig, instrumenting the rig; preparing, running, and documenting tests
