Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree Preferred
- 4+ years of industry experience in the development and test of power electronics for semiconductor, automotive, industrial applications
- Design experience with Altium, PADS, SPICE for analog and digital hardware
- Basic understanding of Python and C++ embedded programming
- Strong background in power electronics; DC/DC and DC/AC conversion for high power applications
- Ability to simulate boards and conduct thermal analysis on components, systems
- Experience preventing EMI, ideally in an industrial or rugged environment
- Design and develop control systems for automotive applications
- Specify components such as converters, controllers, sensors for electrical architecture.
- Ensure the high volume components selected are cost effective for manufacturing (DFM, DFT)
- Apply basic embedded controls knowledge toward motor controls, low level drivers
- Continuous exploration of new technologies and techniques that will keep your designs competitive against other EV technology
