Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-voltage power supply design and development.
- Experience with analog electronics up to 20kV and associated safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience modifying and debugging high-voltage controllers and power supplies.
- Knowledge of e-beam control, and vacuum system integration.
- Proficient in Altium Designer for PCB design and schematic development.
- Familiarity with analog circuit design, PCB layout, and testing in high-voltage environments.
- Ability to interpret and modify existing hardware schematics and troubleshooting documentation.
Responsibilities
- Modify existing high-voltage control modules to incorporate additional power supply sources for experimental research.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement hardware adjustments, including PCB layout and circuit modifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug high-voltage electronic systems, ensuring safety compliance and operational stability.
- Assist in developing control algorithms and interface modifications via existing digital-to-analog control pathways.
- Conduct testing and validation of hardware prototypes within high-voltage environments, adhering to rigorous safety protocols.
- Document design changes, testing procedures, and system performance for technical reports and future reference.
