Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of industry experience in the development of electrical systems for electromechanical equipment or instruments
- Altium
- Design experience with microcontrollers and PCBs for robotics
- Experience in designing control systems including motors, actuators, solenoids, sensors and drivers
- Familiarity with cable standards, cable design, machine wiring
- Experience designing cables is an advantage
- Power supply design and selection of converters, components
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and bring up boards for prototypes - basic hands tools such as o-scopes, multimeters, etc.
- Experience with embedded controls, FPGA is a plus
- Design, prototype build, and testing of new electromechanical systems for semiconductor applications
- Select components for designs and generate BOMs
- Design of digital circuits for controls as well as communication protocols
- Modeling and analysis of board designs
- Work in the lab to troubleshoot and debug any hardware issues
- Exchange updates and feedback with cross-functional team in design reviews
