Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design and development of complex electromechanical systems
- Proficiency in using electrical CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical)
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power electronics, control systems, and digital logic
- Experience with motor control for brushless dc motors
- Experience with motor control systems (e.g., servo, stepper motors) and feedback mechanisms
- Experience designing and bringing up custom PCBAs at volume
- Familiarity with sensor integration and data acquisition systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for complex electromechanical systems, including power distribution, motor control, sensor integration, and safety circuits
- Select and integrate electrical components, such as power supplies, motors, encoders, sensors, and PLCs, ensuring they meet performance and reliability requirements
- Design and implement control systems and algorithms for motion control, thermal management, and process monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during system integration, and testing
- Document electrical designs, test procedures, and results clearly and concisely
