Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Electrical/ Electronics Engineering (Masters Preferred)
- Knowledge of QAD or equivalent ERP/MRP system required
- Must have 3+ years experience with sensors and signal conditioning electronics
- Transducers/Transmitters, and electronic switches
- Design Analog & digital circuits with Altium (preferred)
- Ultra Low power mixed signal electronics w/industrial automation
- Embedded C programming and microcontroller specific, IDE (integrated drive electronics interfaces), RAM, EEPROM
- Communication protocols – CAN,BLE, I2C, SPI, etc
- EMI/EMC and hazardous location compliance testing and certifications
- (DFM), FMEAs, DVP&R and 8D
- Must have experience with concept generation, design & development, testing, to production launch (phase gate/stage gate
- Hands on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, debuggers and/or emulation tools
- Lead end to end design of instrumentation and control products from concept to successful launch
- Develop architectural plans
- Develop sub-system and system level prototypes (hardware, firmware and software modules)
- Ensure packaging of the electronics components is in accordance with the mechanical design
- Diagnose hardware/software issues: lab testing, conduct functional testing
- Plan and perform validation testing: EMC, Climatic, Vibration, Shock, functional, qualification and validation
- Plan and perform Agency Certification testing for Explosion proof & Intrinsic safety etc.
