Qualifications

• Hands-on experience within the semiconductor capital equipment industry or an equivalent technical field.
• Proficiency operating high-performance test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and Hi-Pot testers.
• Expertise in component-level printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) rework, including surface mount and through-hole soldering.
• Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot printed circuit boards utilizing engineering schematics and electrical block diagrams.
• Competency in building complex wire harnesses using industrial connectors from Harting, Molex, CPC, and multi-pin DSUB formats.
• Experience with industrial electrical installations up to 480VAC three-phase wiring, including contactors, circuit breakers, and torque specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude using sheet metal prototype fabrication tools to modify enclosures for internal component and bulkhead mounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory asset tracking and calibration schedules for several hundred pieces of electrical equipment using RFID systems.
• Execute circuit board modifications including jumper wires, dead-bug integrated circuit installations, and specialized potting or epoxy applications.
• Fabricate custom cable assemblies, perform proper wire shield terminations, select appropriate wire gauges, and install heat-shrink tubing.
• Build prototype engineering enclosures by drilling, cutting, and installing panel-mounted status LEDs, EMO circuits, and circuit breakers.
• Assist engineering teams with hardware experiments utilizing environmental thermal chambers, custom test fixtures, and component cycling profiles.
• Maintain laboratory safety standards, coordinate workspace layouts, stock shared components, and manage the equipment check-in process.
