Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- BS/MS Electrical Engineering – 5+ years’ experience in embedded systems engineering (Aerospace or Defense industries)
- Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting embedded boards
- Proficiency with PCB layout tools, schematic capture, and firmware (a plus)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and component sourcing
- Familiarity with AS9100, IPC standards, or RoHS compliance, VME & cPCI components
- Experience in reverse-engineering electronic systems, PCBs
- Strong documentation skills]
- Strong communication and project management skills
Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle engineering projects—from scoping to customer sign-off—despite incomplete data and a fragile supply chain
- Rebuild design files from scratch using legacy samples and clever analysis
- Create BOMs, schematics, and test plans for legacy boards that must match original form/fit/function
- Partner with fab/assembly vendors and internal teams to get first articles right, fast
- Ensure our customers' critical systems keep running by providing production-ready documentation and support
