Job Description
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or Associate degree in electrical engineering
- Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office tools
- Five years of documented industry experience (Telco preferred)
- Building, assembly, testing complex equipment
- Able to use basic measurement instruments to verify and troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical assemblies
- Proficient in PCBA rework and soldering of SMT components down to 0402 size
- Reflow soldering
- Cable design and cable assembly
Responsibilities:
- Design and build cable assemblies based on system architecture drawings and PCBA schematics
- Build and test electro-mechanical assemblies and instrument prototypes
- Solder and rework PCB's
- Search for parts (cross referencing) and creating part entries in the CAD system
