Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate requirements for new products and propose best implementation strategies.
- Embedded Development: Design and develop firmware and software using SoCs, PLDs, and FPGAs.
- Author comprehensive hardware/software specifications and detailed software design documents (SDDs).
- Develop low-level software drivers and high-level applications to ensure seamless hardware-software communication.
- Lead the testing, integration, and troubleshooting of prototypes to ensure field reliability.
- Proven experience designing with FPGAs and microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-1553 communication protocols and aerospace/defense standards is a highly desirable, but not required.
- Experience with SoC (System on Chip) design and integration.
- Proficiency in Embedded C development.
- Hands-on experience with military-grade systems and standards.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system-level issues.
- Flexibility for potential domestic or international travel as required.
