Engineering Manager
Job Description
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

SolidWorks
-
7–10 years engineering leadership and product development with phase gate and NPD systems
-
Must have automotive powertrain, performance aftermarket, specialty vehicles, or high-mechanical systems.

Experience with DFMEA & PPAP Documentation
-
Must be expert with GD&T

Experience with managing complex engineering projects, documentation, BOM creation, and configuration control in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:

Build structured systems for managing engineering deliverables, including drawings, CAD models, BOMs, testing data, and release packages.

Overhaul current documentation methods (QuickBooks for ERP; Dropbox document storage) to more scalable solutions over time

Review and approve designs, engineering calculations, SolidWorks models, and production documentation

Work closely with Operations, CNC/Machining, Assembly, and Quality teams to ensure smooth hand-off from engineering to production.
