Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 5+ years of engineering managerial experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate teams toward achieving goals and objectives
• Experience managing or collaborating with test engineering teams to develop test strategies, automated systems, and validation processes
• Technical background in system design, PCB design, and cable harness design
• Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures for manufacturing systems and test methodologies
• Experience with schematic capture CAD (OrCAD, Altium, or Zuken) and PCB layout
• Knowledge of RS232, Ethernet, EtherCAT bus, 208/480VAC distribution, and 24VDC digital I/O systems
• Power management and hot swap circuit design experience with circuit simulation tools
• Experience with SAP/PLM documentation systems, BOM management, and AS9100/ISO compliance
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Self-directed with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams including design, test, and maintenance functions, providing guidance, mentoring, and training
• Oversee test engineering activities ensuring test systems, fixtures, and procedures meet product and customer requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design processes, test methodologies, and measurement systems to enhance product quality
• Provide technical support for production, NPI, and field service issues including component obsolescence and field problem resolution
• Develop and implement engineering processes that optimize efficiency, quality, and safety, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development
