Job Description
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ERP systems, process simulation tools and SAP
- Experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role, preferably within a thermal or related industry.
- Knowledge of brazing, welding, or thermal insulation techniques.
- Experience with testing procedures for thermal systems (e.g., pressure tests, thermal cycling).
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID and thermal schematics.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis (RCA). Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Fluent in Mandarin
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for thermal equipment and systems.
- Prepare and manage production schedules to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Identify inefficiencies in thermal manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methods.
- Lead efforts to reduce cycle time, scrap rates, and energy consumption in thermal production.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirement and standards
- Collaborate with quality engineers to resolve product or process-related issues and drive corrective actions.
- Specify and maintain production tools, fixtures, and jigs used in manufacturing thermal components.
- Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of production machinery related to heat treatment, commissioning, or nitrogen charging.
