Job Description
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Related Field or Technical Certification preferred
- AutoCAD 2D (red-lining, not design)
- 5+ years of industry experience in systems builds and troubleshooting for electrical equipment – semiconductor equipment highly preferred
- Ability to install electrical subsystems, route and connect cables for power distribution, equipment.
- Must have experience or willing to work a clean room (full gown, mask, gloves, etc.)
- Ability to red-line work instructions, cable drawings based on issues encountered during installs and troubleshooting
- Previous experience with DMMs to measure continuity, voltage, etc.
- Works closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new semiconductor tool and troubleshoot advanced semiconductor process equipment
- Build electrical subsystems and integrate them into the tool with minimal supervision
- Create Problem Correction Reports (PCRs) or redline procedures and inspection instructions; work closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new product introduction such as manufacturability and form, fit, and function for future builds
- Mid and high level electrical systems troubleshooting
- Work up to 8-hour shifts in a clean room environment wearing PPE (bunny suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear)
- Install components from a working height between 12”-71” and reach into machines to perform tasks
