Facilities Technician

Employment Type: Contract to Hire Job Number: 10012 Pay Rate: $35/hr-$40/hr

Job Description

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing facility services to commercial industries
  • Ability to use different types of power tools
  • Must have experience with plumbing, electrical, wall repair and painting
  • Hands-on experience in the fabrication of different materials
  • Must have hands-on experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems 
  • Desire and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
  • Available to work on weekends (a Saturday or a Sunday, 4-hours to do walk-through)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving facilities, equipment, and machinery
  • Respond to assigned Facilities requests and complete work based on priority
  • Complete assigned maintenance tasks and other actions to ensure the proper function and appearance of Santa Clara facility with awareness of high use areas and employee traffic areas (main lobby, restrooms, main production floor and equipment pad)
  • Provide support for the completion of specific project tasks with a special focus on customer requirements and project guidelines under direction of the Facilities Manager
