Job Description

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Control Environment
  • Associate Degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • PLC Programming Experience
  • International Travel Experience
  • Familiarity with Similar Manufacturing Fields
  • 5+ years of exposure to mechanical/electrical background in Thermal Processing Capital Equipment
  • Strong mathematical skills, including arithmetic and fractions
  • Accurate record-keeping abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment, with strong decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in general office software like Microsoft Office or MRP/ERP Systems
  • Ability to follow verbal, written, or diagram instructions
  • Travel Requirements: 85%-95% of time, possibly on short notice, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Test, diagnose, and provide solutions for industrial equipment issues, including startup and service for ITS or other manufacturers’ equipment
  • Occasionally assist or supervise equipment installation
  • Conduct mechanical or electrical tests to ensure equipment meets specifications
  • Diagnose problems and expedite repairs to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, or customer personnel to resolve issues
  • Interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings to ensure equipment quality
  • Coordinate project labor efficiently to meet quality standards
  • Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with safety guidelines
  • Provide technical support to customers internally and externally
  • Prepare and maintain reports and records related to testing, service, and installation
  • Keep Customer Support Services Manager informed of project status
  • Instruct customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Assist in Quality Control Startup of new equipment
  • Conduct QC tests on equipment, both at the factory and customer sites
  • Compile technical manuals and equipment data labels
  • Adhere to project schedules and budgets
  • Work independently or collaboratively with other departments and customers to support company objectives.
